Hey dolls!
As most of you know, I have been a huge supporter of Full Figured Fashion Week ® since its first production in 2008. And trust me when I tell you, I highly doubt that will ever change. One of the things I love most about this event is that its creator and Executive Producer, Gwen DeVoe is no stranger to giving an opportunity to an upcoming plus-size industry professional. Whether you’re an aspiring model, stylist, designer, blogger or entrepreneur – she is willing to provide you the opportunity to grow. Each year, Ms. DeVoe has introduced a new outlet during Full Figured Fashion Week® that knocks on the door of up and coming professionals in the plus-size industry and this year is no different. Full Figured Fashion Week ® 2013 is for six FULL days and we have been anticipating the release of the schedule for months (check it out here). Of course, there are the fashion shows, the ever popular all-white networking cruise, the blogger events and at one point there was even mention of swimwear!
I am really excited to share with you a new segment of Full Figured Fashion Week ®, Curvy & City ChicNess. Curvy & City ChicNess is the official blog for Full Figured Fashion Week® scheduled to launch on Monday, April 15th, 2013. I am really excited for the selected bloggers. They were hand chosen by FFFWeek’s production team and I know we will not be disappointed. The mission of the bloggers: to prepare you for the survival of FFFWeek! How exciting is that? I’m sure the basic will be covered: what to pack, what’s happening when, styling tips and shopping guides. I’m most excited to see what else they have up their sleeves.
