The inaugural Curvy Revolution event will take place this coming February 2011. In this three day weekend there will be workshops, parties, fashion shows and the Miss Curve competition. The Curve Competition (TCC) is committed to uplifting the plus size woman by highlighting her attributes and giving her a voice within the mainstream community. Who says we have to limit ourselves to being plus size? Let’s be beautiful, talented and strong women, no matter our size or shape. TCC embodies these beliefs and has created a competition that surpasses all others. The revolution has been born! Only one woman can be crowned Ms. Curves 2011, is it you?
Contestants must be born a female, must wear a size 10 or higher in clothing, and between the ages 19-36. All contestants should reside within the United States of America or Canada. Contestants must enter the competition no later than July 31, 2010. The 10 finalists will battle is out Saturday February 19, 2011 in Las Vegas at Planet Hollywood.

The Curvy Revolutionâ„¢ is an interactive event experience built to celebrate, inform, and inspire plus size women while connecting with companies, brands and supporters that are beneficial to the every day woman through mainstream mediums. Durham is “revving” up this summer to present a “curvaceous” ensemble of fashion, beauty and style with a sizzling motorcycle themed fashion show, “Curves at Full Throttle” in Richmond, VA at the Richmond International Raceway on July 17, 2010.
“Curves at Full Throttle†will feature emerging Fashion Designers, Models, Hair Stylists and Make Up Artist. The show is geared toward fashionable motorcycle enthusiasts, Bike/Social Clubs, Fashion Buyers, Editors, Media, Industry Professionals, as well as the buying public for an alternate shopping arena.
With a sexy V shaped Runway, “Curves at Full Throttle†promises to be a memorable event. 5 Fashion Designers, 2 retailers, 6 sponsors, 30 Models, and 30 vendors will all play a part in this fun, racy, adrenaline pumping event!
